How lovely to be able to spend time with friends and artists in a venue as the stunning and innovative as the Brooklyn Museum – Jaime and Steve called and everyone came !!
Luna Park our amazing wonderful Librarian for the Martha Cooper Library ( Martha of course was present too ) was telling her story about SWOON and how she came to love street art.
SWOON the artists also a part of the panel spoke more about her current installation at the museum her inspirations and plans.
Old friends such as Dan Witz and Martha Cooper were not only there but contributed with images – new friend such as Gilf, Know Hope and Phlegm did the the same.
After that it was wine and music underneath the stars of Brooklyn and in the company of old Russian masters hanging on the walls staring down at us taking about wheatpaste and stencils – evolution at its finest –
